For 3 months I worked as a contract designer at BirdEye after completing my UI Design course.
Worked on various projects from Website design, Google Ads, Event marketing, to Email design. I was able to dip my toes in various aspects of design and get impactful mentorship. So here is an overview of some my work I produced.
January - May 2019
One of the first tasks I was asked to do was create Google Ads that catered to one of our largest demographic, Dentists. During my time at BirdEye, the company was going through a rebranding and experimenting with new art styles. So I had a lot of room to explore.
I was also tasked with creating some landing pages with that implemented the new art style. This was my first time doing the design to developer workflow so I was able to learn some valuable tips and tricks on how to make sure everything went smooth as possible from Sketch to Web.
I also created some email templates. For this project I worked closely with the front-end developer to from start to finish to ensure the project was a success.
Although my time at BirdEye was short I was able to learn a lot of valuable skills that I still to this day use when working.
Skills such as being able to communicate with multiple stake holders of a project to understand what is needed to successfully complete a project that will convert. As well as, learning how to integrate myself into an established team and quickly learn the ropes and not being afraid of asking questions when I'm confused.
